 | For this valet booth, the client needed a small but comprehensive structure to assist customers entering and exiting the parking lot. One of the client’s requests was that the building specifications, and design of the booth, complement the architecture of the shopping mall it services. It was also necessary for the booth to provide a comfortable space for public parking and grounds security employees and to appear approachable and friendly to patrons.

The frame and posts are made with 1 3/8” galvanized pipe and the pot supports are made of robust 1 1/2” galvanized square tubing. Routing clamps at the base of the panel secure the post support and allow the posts to adjust horizontally, making installation easy. Once installed, the fence panel will add an additional five feet above the 42” tall barricade creating an overall height of 8’ 6”.
Fence panels are typically used when a construction site borders traffic or pedestrian causeways. If debris or privacy are concerns, mesh fabric can be added to create a more pleasing appearance. Because the fence panel integrates with our standard construction barricades and TL-3 rated traffic barricades, they are useful in many applications.  | Swing and slide gates are very common and well suited for use in residential sites. Although they may differ in size and materials used, they all move along a straight linear path or an arc, typically 90 degrees, to open and close. The primary factor between gates is the quality of the hinges and rollers, and how the weight is distributed on each. Another point when viewing gates is the support post and how well anchored it is into the ground. The weight of the gate when moving through the line or arc will create stress on the post and if it is not well anchored it will twist or bend. Swing gates are not typically fast, and for multiple reasons they usually are not used in high cycle applications. Using DUAL swings can help shorten the opening time and allow you to cover larger road widths than one gate can cover. | |
