POSITIVE UNATTENDED ONE-WAY TRAFFIC CONTROL

The SM36 Surface Mount Traffic Controller is designed for quick installation on both existing and new asphalt or concrete surfaces. Its surface-mounted construction eliminates the need for trenching or major excavation, allowing installations to be completed with minimal site disruption. Multiple modules can be connected together to protect entrances of virtually any width.

Because the system installs above grade, maintenance is simplified and drainage concerns are significantly reduced. Constructed from 3/8″ heavy-duty steel, the barrier is engineered to withstand the demands of regular commercial vehicle traffic.

LATCH DOWN

A built-in Latch Down mechanism is included as a standard feature on all units. This allows authorized personnel to temporarily lock the teeth in the lowered position, permitting two-way traffic whenever operational requirements change. The locking mechanism can be engaged or released with a key in only a few seconds per module.

FINISH

The barrier is finished with a durable polyurethane epoxy coating and is available in Red or Yellow. The spike teeth and spring components are hot-dip galvanized for enhanced corrosion resistance. When activated, the teeth extend approximately 2″ above the roadway surface.
